You know, out of the ordinary movies that no one else likes but you get all :squee: over? I have my fair share of them.
This movie right here is so bad it's hilarious. I watched this movie because according to my uncle, I act just like him on my essentric mode (Which is when I am around my family / most of my friends)
It's a movie about a really big college Dork in the wrong place at the wrong time. He get's in contact with a cab service that rivals another service. It's stupid and silly. But the movie works in it's lame comedy that very few people find hilarious. Anyways, the dork eventually get's the alias called "Dr. Detroit" and becomes a new person. You get a super nerdy dork into some crazy wildman with a hook for a hand while talking like a grandmother. Kinda reminds me of the Ernist movies, except you don't get dumb facial expressions on the screen every 10 minutes.
I'll go ahead and show a clip from the movie and let you guys check it out. If you are bored one day. Check it out. Though keep in mind the comedy aspect isn't for everyone.

I liked the old Disney movie Blank Check, mainly because of all of the Macintosh references. I find it hilarious how one 11-year-old kid manages to make a million dollar check and buy a house using a Macintosh Performa computer =P
I tried finding it at Best Buy the other day, but they didn't have it. Luckily, I did find it on YouTube... |

 | I actually like the Mario Bros movie. And I mean, I really like it. That is one of my favorite nostalgia trips from my childhood. I also like a lot of other old school movies that nostalgia critic seems to detest such as Space Jam. I can still see where he's coming from on a lot of them though, so I guess I'm not completely insane.

However to this day. I don't care how much you know about mario. I state he is not a plumber.
Yeah, I said it. He isn't.
But I thought the movie was great. I loved the movie. I loved how Hollywood portrayed the goombas and how they also portrayed yoshi. I don't care what anyone says, I thought that movie was awesome. ____________________ __________________________________

| YAY! Someone who understands! I especially like all of the little game references that are thrown in. Plus to this day I am convinced that Leena must be the mother of the Koopa Kids. I mean, its the only thing that begins to make sense.
I guess most people don't like this movie because they had unreasonably high expectations for it, and it didn't meet them. Most people seem to complain that the plot of the movie had nothing to do with the plot of the games. But um hello? What plot? Mario and Luigi are going through a bunch of shit in the Mushroom Kingdom trying to save the Princess from Bowser. Thats all that the games were, and the movie was all of that and more. Seems like a decent live action version to me. Plus, the mushroom kingdom in the movie looks totally dark, fucked up, and kick ass, which to me is awesome!
Rather than viewing this movie as "the actual games in live action format," I've always thought of it as the "real world story that actually happened that later a bunch of games were made about." And of course, its only natural that the games would then have nothing to do with what they were originally based off of, and become immensely more popular.
Also I tend to agree, Mario's not a plumber, he's a frickin NINJA! No plumber could ever pull off those mad skills he uses in later games to save the princess.

| Jingle All the Way, in which Ah-nold and Sinbad battle each other over some Turbo Man doll that their kids just have to have under the tree that year. It's about as slapsticky and over the top as you can imagine, and it was so dumb I laughed the entire way through. The best part is an epic battle with a warehouse full of toy counterfeiting Santas. |

Super Mario Bros, even if it doesn't look dumb, imo 
But a really dumb movie i like is Spaceballs: some stuff there are just lol. Also many pariodies and references in the movie are funny.

Commando and Judge Dredd. God damn, Schwarzenegger is such an awesomely bad actor, and Stallone is at his absolute worst in Dredd. Still, they had awesome one-liners.

The Guyver. I loved that and the sequel Dark Hero as well as the two animes, the OVA and the manga. Most other people hate every single one of them. Whatever.

This is the only Disney movie, to this day; that still makes me cry like a little baby. You won't find a lot of people out there who watch Disney movies. But I fucking love this movie. It's just too cute

| Hey, Disney movies are Awesome! One of my all time favorite movies to this day is still The Lion King. Hell, I still watch Ferngully, and I'm trying to find a torrent of Disney's Hercules the animated series.
Disney kind of sucks ass IMO with their newer stuff though, but give me the Disney classics any day. And of course, anything they've made with Pixar.

Princess and the Frog was good. Recommend watching that one.

Sigh, i missed The princess and the frog  I think i will watch it on DVD.
Disney started to suck since High school musical and Hanna Montana, those senseless series trying to take away brains of teenagers! What a waste of generation! I'd like to watch the next movie about Miley Cyrus
Emperor's new groove was a dumb movie, but awesome at every point, never got bored watching that XD
