Unless you have a magic Internet connection, that never ever goes down or lags out, even for a minute. Because when it does, the game will stop. Without letting you save. And refuse to run until it comes back up.

DRM has long made pirated copies better than the originals, but I never thought I'd see it go this far. Especially if you have an unreliable wireless connection like I do, without a crack, this game would not be at all playable. Good going, Ubisoft.

With Steam, if it detects no internet connection, it just puts you into Offline mode.

That's how I played Aquaria after they killed the internet here.

As long as it's not an overrated and barely-customizable hack job on PC. Not Ubisoft, but I'm still jaded from Mirror's Edge. That didn't even include a draw distance option.
