For me, okonomiyaki, Japanese-style kabobs, rice balls, and corn on the cob with butter and soy sauce.

I managed to convince my family to let me cook Japanese. You can't really see the okonomiyaki in there, since it's a slice, and it's behind that rose, but it was delicious~

That's a picture of my dad's plate. He figured it would be witty to use Wasabi to make his rice balls look like boobs.

Oh, and there was saké too. It's amazing~

I didn't even notice that until I read it in your post. I sort of with that I hadn't read it though, now I can't focus on thinking about the food .

I had some home made chili last night for dinner which was good, but not nearly as good as your dinner must have been .
