Im using Treeki and Dirbaio's editor 5.1. I have looked closely on other levels trying to understand how doors/pipes work. Im also pretty sure I am doing it right. However often my doors does not work. So for sometime I have just avoided using doors. However now I run in to the problem again - this time I only moved existing working doors. And they stoped working. I have moved both the door object and the corresponding entrance. I have NOT changed any of the entrance data. I have even tried to put the entrance in the same place infront of the door object. Still It stoped working. If you have the same problem you should try to check if you really have put the entrance at the same spot. I found that my fault was that I did not place the door object and the entrance at the exact same buttom line. It is hard to see on my monitor because I run it in a high resolution. And objects are moved in "blocks" entrances are moved in pixels. Moving the entrance down using the down arrow in the "Y:" box in the entrance data view helped me. If a smarter solution exists - please reply :-) |
