So, I am sure at least some of you have done pranks to your friends and family before.

I have a couple of them!

But for now I am going to list one of my personal favorites. My dad bought a nice new computer for his birthday last year and it came with one of those shiny flatscreen monitors (Yeah, even my dad is ahead of me in the computer department, and he does not know a lot about computers) that I just had to toy around with.

While he was gone one day. I downloaded one of those programs that make it look like your monitor got cracked. The lines, color wonkyness, and everything. Works wonders with a flatscreen monitor. I installed the program on his computer, started chipping away at his desktop, and snuck out.

He came home two hours later STORMING in my room: "BITMAP, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MY MONITOR." He was getting in my face about it. I started playing dumb and went downstairs to check it out. I told him that someone must have accidentally dropped it while he was gone (I started blaming my cousin's kids. Cause they are still young and they don't know what they are doing).

Then I started smiling and just busted out laughing. I hit the esc key and everything was back to normal.

"Gotcha"! I said. And he just busted out laughing too and offered me a beer: "You got me good son. I was about to kill you"!

	I haven't done anything real big, but I've managed to scare a lot of people before. For example once, I hid just perfectly behind my brother's bed while he was gone. When he got back, he sat down and began doing stuff on the computer. There was some kind of ball - thing in front of me, so I tossed it over the bed at him. I sat up, and he started yelling so loud everyone heard him. He got up, attempted to grab, and I ran out. My mom and I found it funny, but he didn't. He swore he would get me back, but he never did. .. ____________________

A prank that sticks out in my memory is from high school:

This one time when one of our buddies was at a movie with a lady friend, we drove up to his car and saran-wrapped a homemade cardboard spoiler (decorated with sharpies to read "JOE DIRT") to his car. Then we drove across the street and waited.

He came out with his date and he was incredulous. She just started laughing hysterically. He didn't even try to take it off, he just got in his car-- he was just going to drive away with it on, which we thought was hilarious. We go to leave, and maybe follow him for a little bit, when he pulls out of the movie theater, right past us-- he was taking her to dinner at the restaurant we were parked at!

So, we drive around for a minute to wait for them to go inside, then while they're eating, we took the spoiler off. This time, we didn't wait around to see the look on his face, but I'm sure he was confused as all hell. We kept the spoiler in my friend's basement, and the next time he came over and saw it was hilarious: "That was YOU GUYS?! SON OF A BITCH!"

Pretty much did the same thing that you did Bitmap, only instead it was done to the entire CS lab at my old high school.

We (me and a few friends) shopped a picture of the standard desktop, hid all the icons, unplugged the keyboard and mouse and then waited for the teacher to walk in after lunch to see what had happened.

Thankfully, he's a pretty chill guy and we all got a good laugh out of it.

But I have done an assholeish thing to a friend I used to hang out with (Big fucking douchbag), he got mad at me for beating him at Halo 2. He screamed at me, told me to get out, and I did not come back until a week later.

I brung over a can of old ass fish that was open for two days, laid in the basement to sit, and had a rotten smell.

I called him up, he told me to just wait in his room, and I put that can inside a heating vent in his house, and left.

It was beautiful. I bet they never found that son of a bitch!

E- oh yeah, and I stole his Smash brothers / his gamecube he left over at my house, and his entire YuGiOh collection (I donated it to charity).

Basically I moved to Florida for a year so there was no fucking way he could yell at me. Last I heard from him he failed his senior year and is currently arrested in the Military for Child Pornography

This isn't a prank that I did although I was there to watch on of my friend do it (even though I had no idea that it was coming

).

Last April Fools day a friend of mine brought a bag of Oreos to school. I should have immediately suspected something at this point since he never brings food to school (not even a lunch for himself). What he did was take half of the Oreos in the bag and replaced the cream in them with toothpaste, then he would go around to friends and offer them an Oreo. The friend who was pulling the prank would eat one of the Oreos that wasn't filled with toothpaste to show that there was supposedly nothing wrong with them. We caught one of my friend's reactions on camera after being pranked and it was hilarious, his face turn so evil as if he's about to go on a mad rampage and kill someone

I know that the "taking an Oreo and filling it with something else" prank is a bit cliche but it was still funny to watch

I tricked Mega Moron into saying "I eat shoes kill me" once.

I changed the sig images of a long gone admin who was hated by the board he once ran to hilarious gibberish. It took him 5 years to come back and finally remove them. (Previously, his sig said "I work so hard to make this for you guys" as if he made the entire place by himself. Instead, it was edited to read "I really should have given someone the admin code while I had my computer for all of two seconds!"

Some guys in a thread didn't believe I ran an IRC RPG and had a bunch of friends, so I summoned my hordes to fill the thread with ridiculous sayings.

Needless to say, they stopped pretending they didn't exist.

Xkeeper's pranks are more big though, like that time 4chan's /b/ went after me 3 years ago and instead was redirected to ||board, where ||board's own filters then caused them to be redirected back to ||board.

Another time, I argued with a Troll by copy-pasting lines from another thread on another board made by a different troll who also spoke in lowercase.

This automatically drove the other troll insane. The hilarity being that the troll was actually weak to... being trolled. XP
