Woah! what happened here?

Mmm I see, that joseph was banned, but why heartgold? I only know that his hack was going to suffer the same thing as mine happened with joseph( I warned heartgold about him), so thats why he hates him.(dont know what really happened here since I wasnt present) Also his bad grammar is because he cant speak english very well...




Speaking of the hack, almost every level has the clasic scrolling, thought there are some minor wrong things.

Just a suggestion, but if you are having troubles with 1-2 of SMB2-J like I did, I suggest that you take advantage of the 'Area bug', as I call it...

I think that there is some info on it in the MVSL Thread...

Great job on this hack, so far! As I've said sometime ago, I was working on a hack like this, neo-retro tile graphics, but the progress on this hack has me thinking that I should forget that project now, and I should focus on Super Mario Bros. Special, and bring those levels to this game, since not too many have played that game.

One question, though: Why didn't you use jumping Cheep-Cheeps in the latest level video? Are you changing the game a bit to keep it fresh?

It would be difficult since you will have to put a warp all of the right screen and whe you jump into a warp, you dont appear jumping.
The levels count in total wont give you any free levels(excluding the cannons and toad hoses. In fact I got an Idea.......)

What about putting the water under the view or under a bottom limit sprite, then Mario falls down a hole and he dies and the cheep cheeps should still be active underneath the view and will jump out of the water underneath the screen, I think I tried that before and it worked

There is another type of jumping cheep cheep it is the normal underwater cheep cheep with sprite data that makes it jump up it might give you better results with the problem, but I dont know what the sprite data is I just know it exists, don't try searching for it in the game I'm sure its unused
