What is this... Winter Snow Part 4: The Reckoning?

Either it needs to snow enough to nuke classes for the day, or it needs to just miss us entirely, I'm tired of having that middle ground where it's snowing but class isnt cancelled.

On top of the eight or so inches of really dense, heavy snow (that has now turned into really dense, snowlike ice rocks) we have now gotten ~4.5 inches of somewhat less dense, but still fairly heavy snow. Shoveling 3 inches earlier was pretty strenuous but I just finished shoveling another inch that had fallen since then and it was more powdery. Plus the snow is slowing down, so ... here's hoping it's almost over.

My school is closed today

And they very rarely close. Looking out the window, I saw that some of the cars in the parking lot are almost completely covered in snow.

Yesterday, evening classes were cancelled but I didn't have any.
