I usually pick up coins, regardless of which way they're facing... I never believed in that "heads-up good-luck" superstition.
Terra: I even remember AOL diskettes, too! I would always reformat them and use them as my own data diskettes back when my Performa was my main computer. =P

I belive in good luck for finding coins, no matter which direction it is. (Plus, it's free money, after all )

Not sure if it fits in here, but I've found thinking negative thoughts about things I dislike leads them to bad ends.
There was also the weird incident where board 2's server's hard drive head crashed when I was thinking how I was so fed up with that situation (think of the drama 3 years ago, right now I don't care anymore, and if anyone tries to pretend I do, they will most definitely be cursed :p ) that I wanted that in particular to happen, and the other time I made S&T's hands hurt by thinking of it. I didn't ask him--he began complaining about it without me saying a thing.
Also, things which injure me seem to get cursed. The dog which bit my face off died a horrible death of leukemia, the aunt who owned the dog (and cared more about it than me) died unnaturally early of a freak Billy Mays style heart attack, the bike I always flew off of and crashed into the street with got run over by a car, and my father was riding it (he also tended to annoy me, but not so much; he got a stubbed toe.) The principal of my school who made my life horrible wound up in prison for a while, and in the freakiest example, a member who spent all his time driving me off my first message board died as well (although he was ill beforehand--I suspect he hated me mostly because of my optimism, which was probably an insult to his own rather unfortunate fate--although I still don't care for him as a person, as much as I never wished him to die).
In general, dice and luck things behave oddly around me and I have abnormal luck with injuries; whenever I get one, generally it's not as bad as it could be. I evade things like busted ankles, fly down stairs and into streets, and all without serious injury.
So, yeah. I'm like some sort of luck singularity. Whether or not I try to avoid it, weird stuff like that goes on.
