Supposed to get 3+ Feet here in VA. I will keep you people covered with pics as time goes on... It just started at ~10:45 so there has been a lot of accumulation. All the government workers have left early and have clogged up Interstate-66. (our main vein from the burbs to DC) I just got off it. It was a mess... Why the fuck did my university have to have classes today? ><

It's been going since like, ~6 this morning. I've heard anywhere between 2 and 48 inches predicted down here at JMU.

The more southerly states seem to be getting hammered by snow this winter, and Michigan is barely getting any snow. Are you stealing ours?

Aww, you had class today? Don't you hate it when you don't get that snow day when there's fuckloads of snow? My school rarely closes. This year they haven't needed to, but when I have to walk to the bus stop in huge snow drifts and the bus ends up way late...ugh.

We're supposed to be gettiing 3-5 inches, maybe more, of snow off of the remnants of this storm. Son of a bitch.

It just started snowing over here, and it's suppose to dump a foot or more ( which isn't normal ).
That, and there is already snow on the ground ...

Build a lounge chair out of a snow drift, sit, and wait.

Side effects may include a frozen ass.

yeah we're supposed to be getting 8-12 inches between now and tomorrow. So far though, it seems to warm for much of it to accumulate. He just have a ton of slush right now. Should pick up come tonight though. And of course right when the storm is supposed to be at its worst, I have to drive clear over to the next town to pick my sister up form work. Yay!

Got eight here. The wet, heavy kind, too, that is a bitch to clear away. Took 2+ hours just to clear a driveway and the front walk. It's still snowing some but luckily it's not accumulating anymore.

So my dad ended up driving to get my sister in this. I went with him though to see how bad everything was. We almost wrecked at least 3 times! Plus when we finally got home, we couldn't get the car into the driveway. It was funny as hell. We finally managed to slide into the driveway sideways, nearly hitting my car!

And yeah, we also got,

So basically, the snow hit Manhattan and then made a hard right out to Long Island and the sea.
Bullshit. I actually WANTED snow so that this ugly-ass overcast weather would be worth a damn.
Mother Nature is a fucking douche.

There's enough snow here that it's piled up tall enough against 2-foot walls and it's still snowing. Heavily.

We got at least 8 inches in State College. The streets are plowed, but I'm in no mood to dig out the driveway and go anywhere. I'm hibernating in here and working on some writing and such.

My brother-in-law posted a few pictures on his Facebook page. Looks like it's over 17 inches there in Manassas, VA.

I woke up listening to my parents talk about the weather, and I heard something about snow coming in Monday evening, lasting until about Wednesday. But dad went off and said he's hearing a ton of things from all sorts of different weather forecasts, so I'm not sure if going to school Monday and/or Tuesday will be incredibly painful or not.
