	Have you checked to see whether any official temperature monitoring apps exist? I generally have very little faith in SpeedFan's readings. Those sudden dips below 85 are mighty suspicious. At least give Core Temp a shot and see what it tells you. ____________________

CoreTemp and Speedfan give the exact same readings. I'm not some idiot, you've brought this up before. I use Speedfan because it has a graph.

I remember having cooling problems with my Dell Inspiron that I used to have. I think it was because the previous owner mistreated the laptop, and somehow damaged components like the LCD inverter, cooling fan, and the like. =/

It would always randomly reboot and/or shut off every once in a while, and the keyboard would often fuck up, too. At least I gave up with that laptop, and now I don't trust Dell laptops. If I get a new laptop, I'm definitely buying an Acer, as I've heard good things about them.
