Joint-Detach. They don't work in the editor(I assume will be fixed in a later update), but that's how you do it.

If you can tell what this is, you get a cookie! It's really not that hard unless it catches you in front. Then you're pretty much doomed unless you have some fancy flying.

Try freewebs, it's free, and lets you host whatever you want, it's slow, but these files are so small it doesn't matter.

My first attempt with the editor was a fragile enemy called Dragonfly. Though I had only used it to get used to the editor, I was happy with the final design. Thing is, it was too weak by itself to be even a mid-boss. An annoying random enemy throughout the levels, but not nearly boss-worthy.

Well... you could put some "aim to player" segments and boosters, so it moves in relation to the player... But I can't think of anything else...

What core do they use? Some cores have more than one movement setting.

That looks like the fighter core, which only has one. ~~It's actually quite difficult to fight a large multitude (read: close to 60) of the small fighter ship that comes with Fraxy.~~ Okay, I guess my brother just proved me wrong. But yours is probably stronger than those. If it isn't, bump up its hit points a bit. And give it boosters.

As long as you avoid having too many of them, it should be fine. (Which means if it lags my computer, there's probably too many.)

I used Fighter Cores for the Dragonflies, with an extra Booster S 2 in the tail to speed them up. Each Core is "attached" (as a child object) to a single Detach Joint, which is hidden underneath the main core. I tried using a Deploy Core, but for some reason it didn't work.

Each Dragonfly is constructed identically, aside from the different weapons in their "heads". They do tend to attack in a group, since they're all based on the same core, but their somewhat random start positions--and of course, the player's ship flailing about--mix things up a bit.

The Nest merely consists of a Big Core with four Rolling Panels (each a different speed/direction) and two Cross Vulcans (one normal, one reverse) hidden underneath, with a whole mess of Plates attached so they rotate around the Core. It's a neat effect, and provides very effective defense in the heat of battle.

This is one of my more bizarre creations. It's not too tough unless it catches you in the beginning with its combined thruster power. The only flaw is they all tend to act exactly the same way, making them easy multiple targets.

I've been experimenting with this program, and I gotta say that it's hilarious with stupid music. I've tried it with Sunshine, Lollipops, and Rainbows, Beyond the Sea, and Yellow Submarine. XD

Also, I've made something.

Shadow Cross

It spins around firing four lasers on all sides. It also fires a burst of bullets on all sides. It's vulnerable when it's not firing lasers.

I don't have a link though. I'm still working to make it way harder. >8D
