If you don't win, you lose, L-O-S-E.

If something is not tight, it's loose, L-O-O-S-E.

Was that so hard? I can understand typos, but when I see the same errors creeping up constantly even in published books...

When people improperly use "your" or "you're" (the same applies for the "there"s). Earlier today I had a friend who spelled "you're" when he was referring to something that I owned .

I was guilty of this -- even on this very forum!

That was until I spent 5 minutes of my life hitting the internet on the definition. I was cured.

Knowledge is power!

Apologies to Bitmap for this one: The word is tongue, not tounge.

As for intentional misspellings, I don't like when people use a Z to pluralize a noun. Usually in music contexts like "Hitz" or "Jamz" to give it a ghetto flavour.

People mixing up it's and its drive me crazy. Especially when it's "it's" used in place of its.

I actually used to do the same thing several years ago because I didn't know, so I just used "it's" for everything. Thankfully I learned the difference.

"Genious" is not a word. "Tounge" is also not a word. "Genius" and "tongue" are really not that hard.

Nor is there an S at the end of "backward" or "forward".

And even then it's custom but I know English isn't your first language.

Basically, ur, u, r, 2, AIM speak, anything with an ' in it, and missed capitalizations unless done for sarcastic effect or it's ircIRC.
