The irony is a native Australian I spoke to about this went totally postal about it, even as I explained the possibility of this chilling speech.

I don't get it. It's like some of them want to be controlled by their government.

It isn't just Australia...most of the time people could care less because they have their own lives to deal with and figure the government should take care of all the dirty work.
