You guys are really pointing out the obvious.

Anyone watch the newer trailers?

My idea is that these Aurora units are NOT THEE Mother Brain. Possibly lower versions or clones or something, but I don't believe they're the one and only Mother Brain. If Retro/Nintendo did that and just made it out for there to be hundreds of them it would really degrade the character, but hopefully its nothing like that.

Plasma Beam or something very much like it and Seeker Missiles are confirmed. It looks awesome this time around. You can fire the Plasma Beam as fast as the Power Beam.

Bah, I refuse to watch trailers! The game comes out so soon, I can wait. Besides, the experience will just be that much sweeter when I do play it. I do this for most games I'm very hyped up about (Adventure ones anyway, not like SSBB, which I'm watching intently for confirmation on Marth). I just want to see the awesomeness of the adventure myself.

Might as well name this "Metroid Prime 3 is Here"! Played a hour and 20 minutes. Basically, here's my list of things making you have to buy it. 1) I found myself every 2 minutes asking how it was holding up at 60 frames per second. The graphics are simply astonishing for the Wii and there was not one slowdown case. I spot drops to 50-55 FPS very easily in First Person Shooters from my years of playing Counter Strike, and I didn't see one issue. If I did, I would have complained. 2) 45 minutes in I nearly ruined my pants because of an amazing battle that took place involving an old friend of ours. 3) The controls are great. They were awkward for the first half hour and I almost turned off the free aiming when locked on. Don't do it, get used to the free aim, it works wonders later on. Basically, locking on to something doesn't bring your crosshair to it like it did in previous games. It's much different but you will figure it out. 4) Music. Simply amazing stuff. I want the soundtrack now. 5) Superb voice acting for everyone excluding Samus. Guess what the best part is? Perfect lip-syncing. That's right. Lip-syncing. 6) There's times when you battle along side others and it just feels amazing. 7) Plenty of "Wow..." moments. 8) Answers the age-old question of "How do you pronounce Samus Aran." I won't spoil it...Even though I did to most of the IRC channel. 9) Achievements. Like, in 360 games. There was this guy who was being attacked and I saved him last second, icon shows up with "Saved yadayada". He would have died normally. Same goes for this guy who was about to be sucked into space, I wasn't able to save him but I was damn close. 10) There is an online thing that from what I heard (I forgot to check it out when I was playing) let's you check your achievements with others and compare scores and try to be in the top rankings. I could be wrong of course, I can barely recall what I heard. 11) It's Metroid Prime. Three. ____________________ I made this layout first, BELIEVE IT!

I'm actually going to persuade/force my mother into picking the game up for me while I'm at work. I've got the money on hand, it's just a matter of acquiring it.

After reading the review on IGN... I'm ... so excited I can't help but scream in delight at the score.

I won't be getting this game for a long time because I don't have a Wii and my parents won't let me get one until I show that I can be responsible and not be "addicted" to it because it's my senior year. That means college applications, etc.

Maybe I'll play it at my friend's house.

Apparently I'm the third to own the game, and it is indeed awesome. I haven't played around with the sensitivity yet, but I'm feeling that I don't really need to. The only problem I have is that occasionally , I'll try to shift the view too far/too fast and I wind up pointing the wiimote away from the screen.

Still, very awesome. Just got to the first 'real' planet, past the introductory level.

I actually do that while playing, since my Wii is on the desk next to me right now, and I attempt to play MP3 and do IRC at the same time.

I went home for the weekend and finally go to play it. It's awesome. Nothing in the soundtrack stands out too much, but it is appealing in a way. There are definately many "awesome :0" moments and lots of creative places. Last I checked, I'm somewhere around 42%.

I've only died once.

(And by a cheap trick, no less.)

But now that I'm back here, I'll have to wait a whole week to see what the next boss looks like.
