At work, yes, I am pretty good at multitasking. At home I usually like to focus on one thing at a time to make my mind rest. Right now I only have three tabs open. Although I only need one (And that is to post here) the other two are facebook (Trillian solves this problem for me if I get an update), and Youtube to listen to music. #52 I'm usually on Jul and IRC at once, while doing other things or even playing Pangya, so that should count as multitasking ... my desktop usually looks like this, in fact that was just now 
Now if you really wanted to get insane with extreme multitasking, you can try running a dozen emulators + a dozen programs all at once  ____________________ |

| I don't usually multitask.
I currently have only a few windows open, but I usually just check Jul, IRC and probably one other thing. Most of the time, I'm playing something that doesn't use the computer, so I don't really try to do things on there as well. |

I always have IRC open when doing things so I guess that counts as multitasking. When I hack though, I have 5-6 programs open at once, most of them related to hacking. ____________________ |

Paulguy's Post configuration Outside of the computer, I'm pretty bad at multitasking. I usually have to focus on one task or else I'll forget what I was doing with the other and stuff like that unless it's only a couple similar, simple tasks. I suppose this is normal for most of us ungifted people though. ____________________ |

I can only multitask on easier things, say being on the phone while going to the stove, preparing easier meals and such (I just suck at that 'trapping your handset between shoulder and ear'). But as far as reading a book, listening to music or even having the television running it just disturbs me. Understanding easier book is no that much of a problem (while doing anything where you won't take the eyes off your book obiously  ), but any more complicated literature is quite troublesome, when trying to listen to music simultaneously, too.
