He performs this experiment exactly 10 times in one night and does not stop until he has tried the experiment 10 times. Since there is a high turnover rate in the bar, no one woman sees him try and fail in any other attempt, so no single woman is aware of this man’s scheme. However, he gets more intoxicated as the night goes on and as a result the probability of getting a phone number decreases after each attempt. Is the binomial distribution applicable in this case?
