| As I move forward in life, I tend to make little plans for myself and see if I will stick to them or deviate.
I have been living in the US all my life and I love it but I am not tied to this land. So in accordance with the credo "Love it or Leave it" I am looking for other countries to live in. I have a large family mainly spread across Dubai, India and Pakistan and would definitely love to see them more often. Every time I visit them I feel more at home than in the US. Yes, they are less developed countries; but they are also more indicative of the lifestyle that most of the world has. The rich diversity of cultures is obvious and also it's a lot easier to develop mass efforts. My uncle regularly takes a few doctors to a village for a day where they perform routine examinations on hundreds of people. Above all else, I hate mediocrity. Yes, I am a family man. But I am also a dreamer. I would enjoy my job a lot more when faced with a very difficult challenge. And so I've been trying to compile a list of places I'd like to move to. 1. India(duh) 2. Pakistan(recent developments kind of deter me) 3. Spain(seems to be one of the more Muslim friendly Western European countries) 4. Norway(I hear it's a real swell place to live!) 5. Finland 6. Singapore(close but can be expensive) 7. Canada What about you guys? Plan on staying where you are or do you want to move? |
