I tried Linux because I got too many viruses on Windows and because at the time I wasn't feeling very happy toward Microsoft.

And now I'm considering working for Microsoft

I'd like to work for Microsoft or Sony too. NOA would suck unless I worked with Reggie, so I'd need to work for Nintendo in Japan.

Maybe I'll try landing a job with Valve or Bioware I guess.

Microsoft is very tolerant of LGBT employees

Their location within the Seattle area is rather inconvenient, being out in the 'burbs separated from the city by a big lake. Hence why they have their own bus system for employees.

Yeah, cold rain can be problematic sometimes.
