I'm usually a competent and coordinated employee. But, well, sometimes... shit happens.
Took a good twenty minutes or so of effort to clean that mess up.

It's stuff like this that keeps work interesting, though.

That sucks.

At least it wasn't hot (I'm assuming) and that it didn't burn anyone.

Yeah, it was cold. The butter is poured into a container from a jug inside the walk-in freezer.

Nobody was plastered, and for good reason; if it gets on your clothes, have fun getting it off.

That floor is the same type we used to have at the McDonald's I worked at years ago.

Paulguy's Post configuration
So... what kind of butter is that that it stays liquid at room temperature? Also, a lot of places seem to use that kind of flooring for all kinds of stuff... I suppose it's cheap, but looks alright.

Yea, I think it's common in a lot of places. Had that type of floor when I worked at Burger King back in high school.

During the summer while I was working at a candy factory I dropped two 25 pound containers of small round candies onto the floor. It wasn't easy to clean them up since they tend to roll all over the place instead of staying in one area like the butter .

I wouldn't worry about it Exate, we all make mistakes .

You know, I just did something very similar to this at my work a few days ago, only in my case it was cheese sauce. A TON of it! What's worse is that I got it all over myself and didn't even realize it, so as I walked to throw what was left of the bag away, I left a huge trail of cheese behind me, after which laughter ensued.

Can't say I know the recipe. It's garlic butter, specifically... and, it's rather chunky-esque when right out from the freezer.

It's certainly not like the spread you'd buy at the store.
