My computers have all run OpenBSD for at least a year. Before that I used Windows 2000.

I tried Arch Linux recently, but it wasn’t noticeably different from BSD (except for better Unicode support) and I had no compelling reason to keep using it.

I like OpenBSD because it’s simple and doesn’t get in my way.

I remember Windows 9x and especially Microsoft Office being like that with floppy disks, mainly because of temp files

I've tried every single Windows OS since 98. I'm currently with Windows 7 which I like quite a lot. Windows XP mode is epic too, it is currently the only way to get that stupid Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector to work...

I never had to bother with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB adapter, especially since I bought a router for all of my game consoles (Wii, DS, and PSP) and my sister's laptop

Desktop: Windows, because that's where I play games.

Laptop: Windows mostly, because I can scroll with a 2-finger swipe in Windows, but the Linux touchpad driver refuses to detect more than one finger at a time. I'll move to mostly Ubuntu once that's fixed, since bash is infinitely more powerful than the Windows CLI.

Also 2 machines running Ubuntu Server Edition, but I don't bother with them much since they generally behave themselves.

I have broadband from Sprint with one of those aircards so they can't broadcast signal ... that USB adapter was my only choice (I think )

Paulguy's Post configuration
If you have a plain wireless card, some of them can be set up as an access point in Windows (and Linux). Windows has this functionality built in, and it's much nicer than the nintendo usb connector in that it works with anything out of the box, with encryption if you want.

I've gone insane and actually started using OS X (10.5.8).

Honestly? I really quite like it. I don't think it'll replace Windows for me in the long run, but I'll probably end up using it for plenty of things anyway. I've spent most of my time on it as of late... it's pretty damn impressive how well an OS from 2007 runs on a computer with 512MB of RAM and a 64MB video card (Radeon 9000 Pro). (It's better than even my main Windows machine in some cases, but that's probably more the Celeron's fault)

It is why it isn't called a Celeron, but rather a Celery.

I've been using my old Mac with System 7.6.1 more often now, since people like Onyx and BRCincy (from YouTube) inspired me to

Although I can't really consider it a main OS...

On a regular basis? Linux/Xubuntu and FreeBSD, although I have tons of Virtual Machines that I deal with semi-regularly.
