Poor you. Blackhole thought I was out to get him, ||bass banned me from ||board, I was chased off of my home message board for two years, one of my friends was eaten by WoW, a dog bit off my face, I was nearly choked to death, I've flown off a bicycle twice, two $1000 computers of mine have exploded, I'm behind in math, and various people dislike me for random reasons!

Why do I mention this? The sum total of these give me a far better reason to leave almost anywhere, if bad experiences were all it took to make me leave things.

You haven't seen hate until an entire community fights you. Even then, you can fight back; don't just give up like that, silly man. It makes you look ridiculous.

In summary, had you just said "Well, I'll be gone for now. See ya later" It'd be fine, wheras this kind of drama is just silly.
