Not even listening to these videos (ok I lied after starting this post I looked at the first vid and I got stuff like this), I'm going to recommend:

Fort Minor may sound familiar to some of you, and that is due to the main vocalist being from Linkin Park. Don't let that deter you. A lot of Fort Minor is very powerful in terms of beats and lyrics. The Rising Tied is a good album and I recommend getting that. A mixture of danceable hip-hop songs and those songs with powerful messages.

I would also like to ask no 'Juggalo' stuff. Like ICP, Twizted, ABK, and whatever with the Psychopathic label on it. There are better stuff out there.

Either one is a winner. Epik High might appeal to fans of more traditional sounding rap, whereas Ketsumeishi is incredibly mellow...some of my favorite driving music for that reason. This a million times over. Granted a lot of current rap hasn't been exactly original or unique lately, but from 2004-5 and earlier all sorts of great rap was played on the radio.
