Yes, I just upgraded my GPU. The old one didn't overclock (it ran at 750/800, which I changed to 725/850 because it would actually overheat at full core speed) but the new card runs at 1050/1400.
Anyway, in case anyone could use it, I'd let go of it for $35. Send me a check once you're sure it's running, since I really wouldn't miss that much money and we should be able to trust each other, theoretically.
It's 512MB. If you're interested let me know. I'd put it in the 5770 box, since it's the exact same size.
EDIT:
Let's make this fun. If you have Pay-pal, instead of sending me money, you can just donate to Jul. It would almost double the amount on that bar down there, and leave me with nothing to worry about. |

Bah. If my GPU wasn't the best thing in my computer right now, and it's only this.. I'd be quite interested.
I need a new CPU... And a motherboard. So basically, a new computer.
Actually, looking at them. Then seem relatively close anyways. Still, cool deal. ____________________ |

Ah you got an ASUS too...and those EAH boards are usually overclocked a smidge.
Still, if you wanted to go overkill, you could always go for the 5970 of the same. Newegg doesn't even carry them anymore...but they retail over 600 dollars.
I've been happy with my GeForce 9800 GTX+ though. It's just about what a 250 series would be right about now. Only put down 139 for it a few months back when my motherboard crapped out. The question is do you really need a card such as that or are you that obsessed with running Crysis at max settings and high resolution? |

I've been pretty happy with my GeForce 9500GT (PCI-e) since I got it. Massive upgrade compared to what I had before (PCI GeForce 8400GS), and it's also been giving me pretty consistently good performance in games.
Problem is, that's with nothing else open. That desktop has a Celeron processor. :|

EVGA 1GB DDR3 9800GT here and the only things I haven't been able to max out so far are Crysis (of course), Trackmania, and Fallout 3. I can use the EVGA overclocking tool to effectively turn it into a 9800GTX at need; the stock cooling I have is apparently sufficient. If NWN2 can't be maxed out I'd have to say that your bottleneck is definitely elsewhere ...
Everything else pretty much screams even at full HD. (I haven't heard a lot of terribly great things about MSI-manufactured nVidia boards though; I've only used EVGA and Zotac-made boards before though.)
