Okay, since the number of threads are getting out of control and because it is the same issue in all redesign universes for all tutorials that aren't completing, we're starting up a collection thread. All posts regarding any bugs in the tutorials and any workaround that have worked for people should be posted in this thread. All other threads will be closed.

Affected
Tutorials known to be affected:

* Tutorial 4 - first ship (it appears if you bypass this one, you can not get it later)
* Tutorial 5 - information networks (reset to incomplete, DM reward lost)
* Tutorial 6 - complete merchant trade (trade conducted but remains incomplete, no reward given)
* Tutorial 7 - build probe, espionage another person (remains incomplete, no reward given)
* Tutorial 8 - go on expedition (remains incomplete, no reward given)
* Tutorial 9 - found a colony (remains incomplete, no reward given)
* Tutorial 10 - recycle something (remains incomplete, no reward given)

Workarounds
Note that workarounds are based on an individual's experience. People may be missing key details that they hadn't thought of. (Note: in the following list, 'tutorial completion' means that the tutorial is regarded as complete including the delivery of the indicated reward.)

* Remain online after beginning the task of completing a tutorial until the tutorial is completed. (This means for those consisting of a flight that you should remain online from the time the fleet is sent until it completes its mission.) This includes all steps for the same tutorial in those tutorials with multiple steps. All should be completed within one session.
* In some cases logging off and then logging back in has resulted in tutorials completing that have had all requirements met previously.
* When the task to complete a tutorial has been accomplished, going STRAIGHT to the tutorial page before going to ANY other page seems to result in a more favorable chance for the tutorial to complete.
* Regarding tutorial 6, remember that you spend Dark Matter to call merchants, not to use them. As long as a merchant remains unused, you can go back to the merchant screen on any planet and use it through the trade button.
