Even some YouTube video shot of it (or at least the gunshots).

Christ, what a way to start off 2010. :| Suspect killed, two others shot, one fatally; the other's in serious condition.

It's nice that the news networks find something like this important enough to not display commercials during.

...and of course as soon as I post that, on come the commercials.

Ugh

This is why I think it should be much harder to own a gun. Shooting people never solves any problems.

what makes you think that person actually owned the gun they used, or that they got it through legal channels?

Yes, because apparently knowing where to find a seller of illegal weapons is common knowledge. I mean my local illegal weapons dealer lives down the street. I go to him every time I need a modified shotgun with no questions asked.
I hate how people assume that getting your hands on illegal weapons is so simple for the average American. The majority of Americans wouldn't know where to start looking for an illegal weapons dealer. Besides the majority of people that possess firearms are licensed owners.

It's the kind of logic shown in the posts made after Xkeeper's that are the reason nothing related to guns has been remotely improved in America since a long time ago.

When people are more interested in taking partisan stands and hurting one another rather than trying to find common ground, nothing is accomplished.
