Wow, now I really want to play! Too bad they probably won't show up for another 5 hours

Yeah, it took me a lot of attempts to beat 9-7 (and even longer to get all the star coins). I'm quite sure it's the hardest level in the game.

Not sure if it'd be easier or harder with a Wiimote though - I've only played it with a keyboard. I don't even want to think about what it'd be like in multiplayer.

Most of the other world 9 levels are also pretty fun, although I'm not sure which you've unlocked so far. I still need to play 9-4.. it took me ages to unlock because of an emulator glitch

I'll need to try it then, but I've still only unlocked the first two levels It'll take quite a while to get the rest...

I only got all the star coins in Worlds 1-8 due to a lot of perseverance. And sometimes cheating using a guide.

It took me so long to get 9-4 because in one of the new revisions of Dolphin, they broke something (not sure which/what) and some levels crash the emulator upon exiting. 4-3 was one of them. I fixed it by just replacing 4-3's level file with 1-5, collecting the coins and swapping it back. Cheating is fun

Man, you sure cheat a lot. Don't you have a Wii?

More on topic, NSMB Wii sold 1,513,058 units on the week ending Dec 26, whereas COD2 for the 360 only sold 616,598 units and for PS3 it only sold 449,852 units.

Yeah, but it's not at my house so I rarely get to play it. My copy of NSMBWii is still unopened.

Oh wow, that sucks :/ My Wii is in my room, along with my PC and the DVD (and 20 seasons of The Simpsons on DVD, plus all of Family Guy and Futurama) ... thanks to that, I rarely leave my room.

I went and got this on New Year's, and played 3P.. we had a blast. I would imagine it's probably harder with only one people, or many people if you're not actively trying to cooperate. We'd all heard that you end up 'hating' each other by the end of playing if you aren't careful, but we had a lot of fun.

I'm not even sure where we stopped, because it was like 4:30 in the morning on New Year's day, and I haven't looked at it since (been playing Pokemon Rumble. :x). I'm hoping our friend will have time to come over again soon so we can keep going. If he takes too long, I guess I'll just have to try 1P and see how miserably I fail at it. XD

That's... an insanely great number, even though it was the week before Christmas. Was that worldwide?

I only bother playing NSMB Wii in one-player mode, actually... and yea, I don't think it would be any easier with any more players...

Some games are just best played in a one-player mode...

I need to grab this game sometime. I loved the DS version, and this one looks even better. Plus, I think I'll like the multiplayer much better. 2 players on one small level wasn't all that great...

I would grab this game, if I had a Wii. Or if by some awesomeness got my Gamecube to play it.

That would require the Starlet and some extra stuff, as well as so much reprogramming.

Yes, it was worldwide.

And, NSMB Wii has, according to VGChartz, outsold COD2 for the 360 as of the week ending January 2nd. NSMB Wii sold 808,842 units whereas COD2 sold 263,533 units. Total sales are:
NSMB Wii - 9,833,032
COD2 (360)- 8,718,191

And if you get stuck you can just "bouble" yourself towards your friend.
Me and my two brothers found this game easy. We even thought the 'super guide' were the hint movies in peachs castle.
Talking about those we fully compleated the game (4 stars) but still have movies locked, does anyone have the same problem?
