If you mean a PlayStation Eye, then no. Don't have the moolah for it just yet. My friend has an EyeToy (the PS2 thingy), though. He's here, but i didn't ask him to bring it. Apparently it only works on the PS3 with LBP and nothing else, though, so it'd be kinda pointless.

My bro and I have been considering buying a ps3 for quite a while now... The only problem is that next year I will be going off to medical school and he will be starting his own career.

However! My mom was looking at devices that stream netflix and play blu ray. The ps3 seems to be the only one with wifi capabilities. However, she asked me if it's too complicated for her to figure out?

She uses computers, dvd players, and blackberries quite frequently so navigating through the ps3 gui shouldn't be too difficult, right?

Nope, it's pretty straight forward. The XMB is divided pretty well (Audio, Video, Games, Playstation Network, Pictures, Settings).

Unless your Wifi is (WMP?) protected. She won't have a problem connecting to a wireless modem. But it's pretty straight forward with everything the PS3 offers. Not to mention if you don't have netflix, you can rent HD movies for as little as 4 dollars. So even if you are not a movie person, you can still pick up a 20 dollar PSN card and rent up to 5 movies a month if you want to. Only problem is that once you play the movie, you have one day for the movie for yourself before you have to delete it.

I mean going for her, the PS3 sounds like a great decisions. Does she like photos? Music? The PS3 can do all of this in HD (PS3 can do DTS surround so long as you have the correct speaker system.) And the photo albulm looks great on an HD TV. I made a sideshow for Christmas as part of my Christmas present while streaming Christmas music in the background.

If your mom is a gamer. Well, I'll let you do the talking. I'm not a fanboy.
