Finland is already freezing so the temp difference can't be that much different. Or it could be, hell I don't know.

But yeah, good luck out there, and at least it's not for a terribly long time. And hey, there doesn't seem to be much going on in Finland or that region that needs military action so you should be fine.

Thanks to all.

It's only -18 celsius, not so bad! There's going to be lots of skiing though And I live quite south of Finland, so it's not really THAT cold here.

To be honest, it's not Finnish Army. It's more of Finnish Defense Force. We're not actively having wars anywhere. (although we have a few peacekeeper units in Iraq)

Hell yes I feel more of a man now I've got my own AR (Assault Rifle), which I have to care, clean and most essentially, shoot.

There are certain "harder" generals and all, but my company (that being Armored Indirect Fire Pattern(not sure about this in english)) has quite easy-going sergeants and lieuteneants. Although we still have to follow the preset rules (such as how to introduce yourself before speaking, how to speak, when not to speak and so on).
