I wouldn't do that just to get the 15M view... I would try to get the view fair and square

Many other boards don't have a view counter, and it's one thing that sets AcmlmBoards apart from other board systems

I tend to refresh, but usually more slowly so I get every 10th or 20th view or so. I don't hold a brick to the F5 key. Getting 26 out of 50 views is insane.

It's interesting to note that the ratio between views and posts was much greater on I1 than it is on here. On here it's 14M for 214K posts, while on I1 it was 16.7M for 706K posts. There more lurking on here.

I do agree that I1 was the best incarnation of AcmlmBoard... I2 didn't last very long because of administrative issues, DUR sign, and because Xkeeper didn't like 1.Ax

I3 lasted just over a year, then it too fell... splitting into two factions (||board and board2)

board2 then had a faction split of its own in July 2007, and Jul (this board) formed

Well, my introductory thread at I1 was ID 14600, and we're only a little more than halfway there after about twice as long

In those days, bots were also far less common -- these days the majority of views probably come from them.

I think I grabbed something close to one of the view milestones once, but I don't remember. I've always been terrible at stuff like this.

I always end up completely missing them, or getting in extremely late and then faling to get a view.
