I`m used to internet users being 15-23 or so.

I'd like to see how boards (not just us) look within the next 10 years. Should be rather... interesting.

I lurk at a board at which a lot of the active members have children of their own, who tend to be referred to by lame derivatives of their usernames. Like, if I had a kid and mentioned it there, it might be MiniTerra or something.

I dunno. Average age seems mostly the same these days as it was before. You get a bit more people in their late 20's, though. So maybe we'll have more people in their late thirties?

Originally people just thought I was in my early to mid 20s, now they will be correct.

Er, and actually a lot of upper end people seem to leave the 'net altogether over having kids and stuff. Which I think is silly--balancing the schedule, one can have a live and the internet too--all it takes is 15-30 minutes a day to maintain the internet presence, anyway.

Thankfully, I don't feel old. I still feel and act the way I've always been, which is about 18.

Many people need remember that the gaming generation is now in their 30's, many of which browse the interweb and post on message boards.

BMF, I had the sense of dread all the way up until I turned 30. And then I was back to normal.

Okay, we leave the house at around 5:15am. Dark outside and as we drove up, it got colder and colder. I managed to stay away in the 3+ hours that it took us to get to Disney.

When we get there, its a bit busy, which is normal for that time of year. I get a pin that says happy birthday on it.

Since it was a bit chilly, Chris and I made a dash for Space Mountain. When we get there, the wait is about 20 minutes or so. Very fast and they improved the ride. It runs so much smoother.

After that I was happy with whatever we did. We went on a few rides here and there before I finally got Chris to go on Splash Mountain with me. We both enjoyed it and it wasn't that cold out yet.

Then we walk over to Thunder Mountain. The wait was about 40 minutes, not too bad. We're able to look out the window and see the track. The car stops and stays there for a bit. Then the line starts to move faster than usual and we're outside. Closed down until they can repair it.

3pm, it starts to get cold. By this time I had my funnel cake, so I was happy. Then the wind starts to pick up and the lines get longer.

Fast forward to closer to 6pm and people are rushing to get warm clothes. I'm 100% Floridian, and yes, I've been able to handle it when it gets cold down south, but Orlando cold was pretty bad. Especially at night and with some wind.

One point, my leg fell asleep, my nose felt like it was numb and I couldn't type on my blackberry. But my upper body was warm.

We managed to make it to the castle on time to see them light it up, very beautiful! I have that on video that I will up-load sometime today.

Afterward, we head to this England-style to eat dinner. They had some really good New England Clam Chowder.

We then walked and found an outstanding place to watch the parade and fireworks from. No one in front of us and we had a bench.

As soon as it ended, we made a mad dash to Space Mountain, again. People were running to get to it, and I got into the spirit as well. Being asthmatic, I should have been in trouble, but thanks to my meds and my doctors, I was fine! And it felt good.

Hour wait. Then it went to 100 minutes. Then it closed down. I guess that was a sign that we should leave.

On the way out, I walked up nice and close to the castle. Down Main Street USA, it was decorated very nice and then I looked up: snow. Chris said that it was unprocessed mash potatoes. I didn't care either way, it looked awesome.

The traffic wasn't bad on the way out, until we missed our exit cause the signs were too small! Took another road that got us to the turnpike just fine.

First rest stop was for soda and bathroom break. Next stop was at Fort Drum, where we fell asleep until....5 or 6am. Not the best thing to do, but we were tired and we needed a few hours of sleep.

Once we got home, cats were happy and the youngest wouldn't stop meowing. For a few hours.

And here I am, up at noon, mainly because I don't want to mess up my sleep schedule too badly. My legs hurts and I feel like I have a hang over, without the booze.

Photos and the video to come later on. Just wanted to get this typed out before I forgot.
