If we knew, it would be in the sprite reference. it's not like we're holding certain data back for dramatic effect.

sprite 218 is tied to a path.
Each node of that path contains info about the speed, shape, acceleration, etc of that part of the camera path. I once looked at it, but its a pain to figure out.
Try to figure it out and share your findings!

Why can't you find it? We all have other things to do, dude, but you could find out something really useful.

Well what you'll need is a level with an auto-scroll in it so you can mess with the path and see what it does.

I went into level 1-A to work this out.

i went to the camera path and clicked on node 0, i noticed that there were 'unknown' settings so i changed them around and tested them several times. I have figured out how to control auto scrolling speed now.(i hope)

unknown setting 3 seems to affect the time it takes the camera to reach a set speed (acceleration rate?). the lower it is the more time it takes. the value of unknown setting 1 seems to be the set top speed of the scrolling, with higher numbers meaning a faster top speed.

i have only tried it on 1-A but im sure others are no different.

proof of editable speed.
