Been to one of these myself, I knew what I was getting into. Actually it's not terrible. I had a blast. I could see if you were expecting differently to be pissed about it. When I was a "virgin" they marked us with V's on our face / chest depending on how scantily clad we were dressed. I got the face, my girlfriend at the time got a V on her rack.

I will agree, if you're uptight about your sexuality, probably should pass on going though.

The theater near where I am, the Rialto, has been doing this for over 30 years, and holds the record for showings of this movie. It is probably the very center of this following. My Mom even went to see it once, eons ago.

People throw toast at the movie screen and it sounds like they've gotten even wackier with the times.

That said, as wacky as I am, that's just not my kind of wacky, so I probably won't see it. I'm more of the surreal style weird.

I know of the music of the movie and that's about it. :\

But yeah... I'm aware that the movie is shown in several theaters in town at Halloween and things can get messy. Could have watched it on TV (in HD!) on Halloween, but... hockey took priority.

Apparently it's gotten strange with the years. My girlfriend's mom said that she saw it before with people but they didn't have all the weirdness we experienced, instead the people actually sang along with the songs and stuff and had fun in ways like that. Now it's become some sort of twisted i don't even know what.

Oh well, water under the bridge.
