I personally don't use Steam that often, mainly because I don't have a powerhouse PC to run most of the games it offers. Shit, my old gelopi of a desktop has trouble playing Medieval II Total War! I can't possibly expect it to run some of these newfangled processor heavy games that are coming out these days. I will stick to my consoles thanks much ^^;

I don't even know what DRM is and the only thing I know Steam does with the games is validates if the game is actually yours or not.

Steam fucking RULES due to a combination of ease of downloading games AND providing TONS of sales and also ACHIEVEMENTS.

Just bought Killing Floor from this sale.

Consider the "keys" to be copies of the game.

And you can, you know, back up the game's content to have something akin to a physical copy of the game that's still tied to your steam account
