Playing Team Fortress 2, and starting to feel like I've not improving. Over the 18 years I've been playing FPS games, I've never really played seriously. Sure, I played Catacomb 3D and Wolfenstein 3D when they first came out, and that's the only reason I can say I've "been playing them over 18 years". Played a smattering of games, on and off, since. Never really been good at any of them. I think I need something to help me pick up some of the general… skills. Although I do really enjoy setting the Scout on fire. ____________________ |

Just keep playing and you will improve. I guarantee it. Anyway, I've been playing Borderlands, currently as a level 26 Soldier, and I've been enjoying it so far, aside from a couple of things. I seem to have this annoying habit of "dying" the instant I kill all of the nearby enemies, leaving me unable to get a second chance. (This is often caused by those exploding barrels.) The other thing that bugs me is how difficult the bosses are; even when I out-level them, they always seem to be able to kill me before I can even tell how they're attacking me, and all of my weapons seem as powerful as pea shooters, even if I get critical hits. Other than those things, it's been pretty fun, even if I can only play single-player mode. I've also been playing Quake Mission Pack 1: Scourge of Armagon on and off. It's not as good as Quake, and it seems far more difficult in terms of enemy placement and level design, but it's otherwise a good game; the additional weapons are also neat, but I could hardly care for the new enemies. |

| I'm currently switching of between Super Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars and OGame, a interesting text based game that my brother introduced me to.
God, I know copyright and all that jazz, but they seriously need to get a Mario game with an actual import Geno part, and maybe a little Mallow on the side. |
