I was reading some stuff about Doctor Who when I realized that H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos is actually a part of the expanded universe and Cthulhu is a possibly appearing entity in it. Learning this spurred me to ask. What is shocking about a show that you didn't expect? Movies are fine too. I mean, a lot of odd things happen in the movie industry.
