Sometimes I'll click a link on what must be the pixel after the very edge of the link so this means the page won't load since I didn't actually click it. I'll sit there for at least 5-10 seconds before realizing that I didn't click it...

I keep tap-to-click enabled because at night in bed I can't use a mouse. Sure, I can use the touchpad buttons but it's sometimes faster to just tap the pad. Even if on occasion I have misclicked because my thumb skimmed it or something. What's more annoying is if I hit the little mouse nipple thingy in the center of the keyboard and accidentally click using that. I should just disable that one entirely since I NEVER use it.

Yea... I often misclick and hit a button on my bookmarks bar instead of the tab I wanted in Firefox

That's because you're probably accidentally hitting the mouse nipple hard enough to activate a click and your cursor is a few lines back.

I hit "Logout" instead of "Edit profile" all the time.

So much that at one point I was counting the number of times I misclicked, but I eventually lost track.
