Try Seattle (and the surrounding area). The temperature throughout the year is usually between 30Β°F and 80Β°F, although it has on occasion been colder or hotter than that.

I hope you don't mind plenty of clouds and rain.

I'd much rather live some place where it's hot, I love the heat way more than the cold. Besides, I've never seen anyone have to shovel sunshine .

It hasn't starting snowing here yet, but it's the right temperature to start at any time. I was actually planning on going to Connecticut today, but changed my mind. I would rather deal with the 10 to 20 degree weather all the time than dealing with 90 to 100 degree weather. If it's cold, you can just cover up more.

I've got some pictures uploading that I can put up later. This video was taken about 3 hours ago and the snow's risen by about 2-3 more inches.

We used to have that much snow at my dads place years back... But for the last 6-7 years there have been less and less snow.

That's due to Global Warming.

Global Warming is when the Earth heats up because there's so many fat people in one concentrated area that we cause an increased generation of heat, which results in ripping a hole in the Ozone.

And for those who don't know, I 'am' fat.

Nice pics.

See, this is at least a storm that ISN'T going to hit us. We already got our first storm, thank you very much. I'll take below-seasonable temperatures over this.

So we also had to clean the deck today because, well, it was up to 18 inches on the deck and the weight would be too much to leave overnight. So while out cleaning suddenly I decided to burst into song and sang Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" as my brother and I shoveled. We ended up cleaning more of the deck in those 4 minutes that I sang than we did in the whole rest of the time (~30 minutes) we were out there before. And being silly, when it got to the guitar solo, I flipped up the shovel and began playing the shoveltar. My mom got a laugh out of that watching from the window and called my dad, who proceeded to sneak outside with the camera and record me singing the last few seconds of the song.

I'm a silly.

I don't have it uploaded and it's only the last 10 seconds or so. Not worth the upload I'd say. Too bad though because it was really fun to do and I almost smashed my brother in the head with the shovel a couple times. I should've danced with him during the song too. I need to teach him the lyrics for when we shovel again tomorrow!

At least you get to enjoy the shoveling. :|

I just do it with my mother, who's... more of a complainer about it than anything. Granted, her back acts up, but it's honestly made me loathe snow to the point where I think anyone who doesn't hate it is literally insane.

I understand how you feel, to a degree. That ONE year we had snow bad enough to shovel, me and my mom were out there. Then again, that was also the infamous '98 storm.

No. You don't. Atleast after seeing it once you'll realize. Or, more properly, shoveling it once.

I visited my sister in IL once, during early '08. The snow was piled about two feet high, and I shoveled it twice. Had to deal with a driveway at least (keyword, based on memory) about 35x10-feet in length, which excludes the sidewalk.

It was physically exhausting to some extent, but this was before I had a job and other physical chores (we had moved out of our apartment a few months after the visit). With increased physical strength/stamina from working, and a much shorter driveway out here, shoveling snow would be akin to mowing the lawn.

Snow is so rare down here that when it actually does happen to occur, the entire city comes outdoors.
The general estimation I've been able to make is that we get one or two snow days once every five years.

These statements are not exaggerations. Snow chunks together out here (due to the low humidity, I suppose... idk *dumb*), therefore it can be played with. And it's only once or twice every few years I get to bombard friends with snowballs.

I think what'd cheer you guys up is seeing a Californian (me) shovel snow for the first timeβ€”you can tell right off the bat I certainly don't come from a place with a similar climate.

Part of the issue is probably that I've never had friends who lived nearby, so I never really got to enjoy... much of anything, to be honest.

I guess it's worse shoveling it here when not only does the snow suck, but you have to deal with complaining and having to make sure your mother doesn't suddenly drop dead.
