I'm sure many of you have played games here for more than a year or two, which makes me wonder if there's anything that you guys particularly struggle at but can still barely do or at least come considerably close to doing.

An example of which I can present to you:

Well, I can do that no problem after 10 tries...which is evident when I go to level 21 with 88 viruses and...

KLONK! wtfpwn

There anything that define your guys limits or things you wish you were better in that you've tried desperately to get better on over a significant amount of time? Lord knows I've been playing DM since the NES daze when I was 8 or less.

Well, I also suck at Dr. Mario, but I haven't really tried to improve much. Aside, I just suck at most console FPS games. If I can Aim with a mouse(Or stylus, wiimote, etc), I'm decent, but not with analog sticks. Which is weird, because I have no problem aiming in things like StarFox and Armored Core(When it still had a lockbox, not the full-screen stuff in AC4, anyone can do that), as soon as it goes first person I suddenly suck at aiming. The only exception to this is the Metroid Prime Series, but it operates differently than most console FPS games.

Yeah, I'm lousy at aiming in the first person too. Also, the second gym battle in Pokémon Red/Blue. For some reason I have more trouble with it than all the others.

There are two games which particularly annoyed me. Final Fantasy VII and Ninja Gaiden/Black.

I was stuck in a room something like this for several years, finally figure it out, then get to the ice climb and snowboarding area. It's after those two events, my save file (only this game's), goes corrupt. I'd deleted it. But I'm not keen on repeating some 20 hours again...

If you have a mostly non-cheat PS1 format save after that ice climb or snowboarding in the US FFVII, please send it to me. I'll be so grateful!

Ninja Gaiden is another story. I'd bought the first version, then got rid of it. Bought Black and got rid of it. Now I own the original one again. However, I still can't reach the boss in level 2. Not even on either version's so-called "lowest" difficulty. And no, playing on 360 instead of Xbox obviously doesn't matter. Could try using the 360's VGA though.

1.Zelda 2-getting to the Great palace is a real fucking pain in the ass ESP trying to get their in one piece
2.trying to get the real ending in DKC 2 and 3
3. Beating Tyson(or Mr.Dream) in Punch-out!! it's pretty one of the hardest bosses in video game history..how many ppl do you know that can beat him? not many

FPS games, And I really want to get better at it, mainly for bragging rights. I just need to keep playing and hopefully it'll pay off. Like Halo 3, I sucked at first when the beta came out, but near the end, I was doing pretty good. Last night I played Rainbow Six online for the first time with my friends from work and I know I sucked, but at least I'm getting kills. Also, I've never been good with snipers. I hate 'em.

I've played Banjo Tooie through like 3 or 4 times, but I still have a lot of trouble beating the final boss.

The first person shooter part makes it so damn hard to dodge attacks.

Breaking 40k in PdP/TA 1P Time Trial. I can do it maybe once every 50 or so rounds. I'm still aiming for 50k...Haven't gotten there yet though.

I suck at games like Dr. Mario, Tetris, Robotniks Mean Bean Machine, etc. I can never get very far on those. Good thing those games aren't played as much as the others.

I generally fail in the realm of strategy games. If only because I can't plan ahead of time to save my ass from my opponents. That's not to say I won't play them, but...

I still have trouble with 15k, even 10k when I haven't practiced in a while.

Hey I hear you. I used to pull near 30K in Time Trial when I played competitively but that was over 2 years ago. On a whim, I just tried 1PTTPDP and ended up getting only 11,665. About right, considering I haven't really messed with it in a long time. I'm pretty sure anyone with decent skill could take me out now.

Beating that damned bird in Banjo-Tooie. The second race is impossible. I still haven't beaten it.
Also beating the final boss of Bomberman 64 The Second Attack. That thing has like 5 forms and is impossible to avoid.

I still haven't beaten Zelda 2 because of this. It just gets tiresome getting to this place, and in fact I think I've only seen the palace once. (Actually, I find most NES games pretty challenging )
I had some difficulty beating Gyorg in Majora's Mask last night, and I only succeeded after grabbing a fairy. It's so difficult to get out of the water without him eating you. I also find 150cc in MarioKart 64 pretty challenging and never successfully beat the Special Cup because of that bastard boardwalk stage.

I don't have too much of a problem with them.

What I do have a problem with, however, is the castle of 8-4 in SMB2J/Lost Levels.

Oh, and first The Legend of Zelda as a whole. Especially the first dungeon on the second quest.

...WHAT?!? Try second dungeon on second quest. I was stuck for a LONG time the first time I played because I didn't know that they added walk-through walls, meaning I couldn't find the recorder, meaning I was totally lost.

SM64, second (lava) Bowser level. I just played through it again in SM64DS and it took me damn near 20 tries to beat it with all the red coins. Unreal.

Heh, I probably should've mentioned I stopped playing after dying a lot in the first new dungeon.
