Megaman isn't exactly hard in general either :/
Unless the game gets a sort of "Don't get hit or you die" mode I probably won't be finding it any more difficult than I find it now

MM2 and 3 are definitely my faves. Mostly due to design, flow and music. 4 in contrast was quite ugly, awful sounding, and uninteresting in terms of design.

I feel somewhat insulted by the inclusion of an easy mode. While 9 was difficult, it was appropriately so. This adds to the game's length as it took me a few months to beat it properly(between studies) and awesomeness.

If 10 uses awesome composers like Ogeretsu Kun and Bun Bun, I think it could be the best. I liked the music in 9; it certainly had a distinct feel to it, but I also wouldn't mind if the composers for 2 or 3 came back. But then again every mega man game has its own distinct soundtrack. It's quite easy to realize that different composers did the different games as each uses its own set of sounds.

I agree with Kit. Mega Man games just aren't as hard as people make them out to be. You just need to play like you're the designer. Expect the cheap death pits, expect the blank screens to suddenly populate with enemies.

I'm not that excited about MM10, though. I didn't like 9 very much from the demo I played, though it probably doesn't help that it gave you pretty much the worst stage in the game to test.
