For once I'm actually understanding what is being taught to me and believe I can finish this take-home quiz soaring?

Well, for some reason, even after checking my math repeatedly for equations I'm sure I wrote down correctly, I'm getting things that aren't even listed in the multiple choice answers. ><

I would constantly make sign errors and arithmetic mistakes, which is brutal if teachers don't give partial credit.

With calculus, I'd often just plain forget how to do the problem.

I was never really good at math, especially after trig... I also would often make sign errors or add/subtract incorrectly, or round to the wrong number of decimal places

I never got past calculus 1, but I didn't really need that because I was seeking a major in modern arts

I took two years of Calculus and actually quite enjoyed learning about integrals.

Oh Lord, I just encountered a problem with an isosceles triangle, but somehow got A as an answer. Only problem? Side c is 12, while sides a and b are 15, and knowing from geometry, the angle opposite of the shortest side is the smallest angle. Yet the answer I somehow got said b was the shortest side.

So, using the answers I got and simply writing angle c should be the shortest, I picked what I hope is the correct answer. And the homework I'm doing is basically crap I already learned in high school! What the? How'd the...?

...Fuck math. ><

And it's not like I'm doing anything wrong. There are questions that I did the exact same thing to and got a logical answer.

Hey, another member to complain about some form of math! Looks like I'm not alone...

I have been practicing and practicing, and I've gotten better at Algebra. I'm still very far from mastering it, though.

SHINKANSEEEEEEEEN!!

I refuse to consider trig a form of math. Why? Math is awesome, trig isn't.

Trig is the complete opposite of awesome. There should be something else that could be used instead of trig.
Specially bothers me becouse I particularly like geometry when it isn't TRIANGLE PORN LOL

I had some applied math (whatever the hell that is) class in CEGEP and my mind exploded.

At least I took Stats in university. That's not so bad.

Stats REALLY isn't that bad.

Hell, the first stats class I had in university was a joke. I got an A- in it and math had a harsher marking scale than other classes.

I don't hate any parts of math yet, but the only thing I hate is the fact that I'm stuck not being able to take Calculus during my senior year of high school.

All of the stuff being taught in that class is too easy.

I didn't have much trouble with prob & stats when I took it, but I forgot most of the stuff I learned in there

Differential equations was my problem math class. I somehow got some type of B, and I'm still mystified as to how I pulled it off.

Are you shitting me? Differential Equations is a much easier class than vector calculus. Hell, second-order linear homogeneous are just plain old quadratic equations disguised as exponential terms!

I can understand your griping about it if you got to Laplace transforms, though. Those are

Linear algebra is almost over. I'm getting pretty sick of all these subscripted variables and ellipses, as in x1, x2, ..., xn. They should call it Subscript and Ellipsis Algebra

I also tend not to feel sure about myself when doing a lot of mental math before writing down an answer, as with matrix manipulations.
