| I typically like d-pads, but I'm not a big fan of those round ones. Analogue sticks are fine, too.
Second place, however, goes to the keyboard/mouse combo; like the A Button and the B Button, one just doesn't feel right without the other. Joysticks, for all intents and purposes, can lick my boots. |

| It depends on what I play the game on. If I play it on a console, then I'll just use the controller.. If it's on the computer, then I just use the keyboard and the mouse if it's required.
My favorites would have to be controllers with the D-pad and Analog stick, or the keyboard. |

I can deal with small analogue sticks, but I can't stand arcade-style joysticks. I don't understand why the NES Advantage was popular because I don't like the joystick. I can use the keyboard, but I find it rather clumsy and prefer using a PC gamepad. And using the mouse works well for certain genres of games (strategy, simulation, some puzzle, card/tile).
Hence why I like emulators that allow multiple input schemes.
I'll mainly use keyboard and D-pad, but I've also used just about everything on the list. The analogue stick was my third highest used.
