No I cant every time the progress bar says loading complete it loads the castle ground half way in the progress bar then a script error comes or a different error window which asks you to send error report.I click continue on the script error and then I try to load a different stage like the haunted house and it loads half way then a script error comes up again.

Could it be to do with your graphics?

Do you ever see the castle grounds?

I think it might have to do with your graphics card.....

but I don't know anything else if it's in that area, if it is maybe someone that does know can help.

If I remember correctly (and I might be wrong), you can get errors if you run TT64 with a Limited user account. If your account isn't an Administrator account, try running it as an administrator and see what happens.

Okay, a couple questions for you:

Is the rom Extended with the version 1.2 of VL-Tone's Rom Extender?

What is your Graphics card?

Finally, could this problem have anything to do with available RAM (Random Acess Memory {How Much memory do you have?})

I'm pretty sure it's not related to the ROM itself, the ROM extender 1.2 and TT64 0.5b make more extensive checks to ensure you can only open a valid ROM.

Since you're getting both script errors and real crashes (asking you to send a report etc.), I would guess that you don't have enough RAM. 128MB is very small to run XP, and running TT64 on top of it in low memory conditions might cause some problems.

A similar occurence just happened to me recently, I gave the tower object in Whomp's Fortress the "Static and NOT Solid" behavior, and the original tower behavior seems to have disappeared from the behavior list!

Also, VL-Tone, can you make it to where if you type in position data manually or paste those parameters, the 3D view locks on the the object immediately? The camera just stays in place and I have to switch to fly camera mode and back to orbit to see it again.

Same thing happened to me with the king bomb-omb behaviour. i changed it to something else (cant remember what it was), decided to put it back and it was gone.

Okay, are you receiving any warings that your memory is low? (mine did that before I upgraded my computer)

Also, Do Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open task manager, switch to performance, and you will see stuff on the bottom. Keep an eye on the Physical memory setting, and launch TT64.

Watching the memory meter in the task manager won't fix anything, but it'll tell you if you're starting to run out.

This is a known issue with Vista, and it wont be fixed until the next release of Adobe Director MX, before the end of the year.

TT64 under Vista cannot use the 3d hardware acceleration (opengl, directX), and the software 3d renderer that it uses instead causes a few glitches and problems, aside from being slow.

I was editing a texture and canceled an import. I message box poped up and said:

String Expected

< Void >

Script Error. Continue?

I was running XP at the time.
