As you can see I have some what changed around my mini pic and avatar. I use to know how to make my own layouts, but it has been to long for me to remember how to make them. I have tried looking up the information to do my own again, but I can not seem to find the info I need or I am just looking in the wrong area.

Can someone help me out with a "Green Power Ranger" type lay out?

The 1st bgcolor is the background color, the outermost one. (It's also white, like my current post background so you can't see it.)
The 2nd bgcolor is the border color.
cellspacing is the width of the border.

Layouts are just pieces of HTML that are inserted directly around your posts. Don't worry about tables or anything (unless you want to add one to your layout) - they're not relevant. Jul will put your layout and post inside one, but you won't need to add any extra code for that.

To give you an idea about how they work, putting 
<b>
in your header and 
>
in your signature would bold everything in your post - that's practically the simplest "layout" that you can make.

Don't put tags like <html>, <body>, etc in your layouts - those are only relevant for entire pages, not for layouts.

Also, remember to open/close all your tags properly, else you might end up breaking the entire page (especially if you're using tables in your layout)

CSS is fine (but not required), but it will affect the entire page - so take care to use selectors which will only affect your posts. For example, my layout's container has class='treekilayoutb' so I can add .treekilayoutb to the start of all my CSS selectors and it will only affect my posts.

Edit: oh wow, Darthbobby beat me while I was writing this.

OK, I now have it all fixed. My problem was that I deleted part of a tag and didn't realize it til now. thanks for everyone's help.
