I was curious about making a post layout. Could anyone here give me a basic example of one, just to start me off? I dont know too much about html. i want it to have a background, and a semi transparent box for text sort of to the left of the screen. This is how i want it to look:

GPP: 188; GT: 51.457 First, that's ugly. Second, it wouldn't be easy to design since the Shyguy is a fixed height. Keep in mind layouts have to stretch vertically (scrollbar layouts = die die die), and should stretch horizontally too (in case of large images/long lines, and it's nice when they fill the entire post area on large monitors).

Ok thanks for the info. Are there any sites with post layouts that anyone can use. Or does anyone here have a post layout that they would let me use?

I've made this image to use as a layout, and i just wondered how i should split this into sections? Ill be using the layout maker btw. Also, thanks BooUrns and sorry for making you repeat yourself.

Left side and right side should be placed in their own containers, top and bottom segments as well. I'll have to download that image and mangle it myself to figure out how to put it together as a layout...

If you're talking about the layout maker, you don't click and drag the arrows. To move them, click on an arrow once, move your mouse, and then click again to release it.
