Paulguy's Post configuration Ok, so I'm giving my younger nephews a computer for Christmas. They're about 4 and 10ish. I plan on setting it up so they'll be on limited accounts so they can't hose the computer. But I'm thinking of also putting something on there like deepfreeze because their mother will probably use it and she is about as likely as they are to load it with stupid crap. I'd really hate to have to go over there to install anything all the time, but then I'll always get the usual "it's too slow!" crap when they install every ad supported program under the sun. Anyone have any recommendations?
Also, I'm curious what some of you would recommend I put on there for some kids and computer novices. I know what I'd personally put on here, but other people are different and I just don't have any point of view or ideas. Currently it has windows 7 ultimate with all drivers and updates, and nothing else. ____________________ |
