I'm also hoping the difficulty picks up soon. I beat World 1 with around 50 lives in reserve, and only died a couple of times due to my own stupidity. I'm having flashbacks to Super Mario Advance 2...

Keep going. World 2 is where it picks up. Go for all the star coins in the levels and you'll realize the difficulty.

Coins that sway left and right to the beat of the music? This game just hit SUPER AWESOME level.

I beat World 1 and 2 and have access to World 5(Yay secret exit).

Yeah, I love those dancing coins, and later in the game, ? and brick blocks as well.

I managed to get all the Star Coins in all of the levels. I've got 4 stars on my file now, looking for a 5th which I think I get for finding all the secret exits. I got one for beating the game, one for beating it with no super guide usage, one for unlocking all the levels and one for all star coins.

Don't worry, BMF. You'll start draining those lives going for Star Coins.

Trust me. I already triggered (but didn't use) Super Guide on one level in World 2.

8-7 is so fun but extremely hard I haven't managed to get far at all in it. I can't time my jumps well enough.

Had to a chance to play it last night with Dryden and it was fun. He wanted to play more, but had to sleep, so we didn't get too far into the game.

The clapping is a tad annoying, IMO.

The game is fun, but the save system is a step backwards and the physics are still arse like the NSMB ones :/

Funny, I got all the star coins on my first play through.

I just got 6-7, which is also extreme fun. The hidden levels are so awesome.

Edit: Also, Treeki, have you looked into that level's data yet? I'm sure that if it's easily editable every single NSMBWii hack will have a ton of bone roller coaster levels. Just like Kuribo's Shoe in SMB3 hacks.

Day 16
--------------------

That game is f***ing awesome. Especially the W4 Bowser Jr. fight.

We played the game with 3 players yesterday, and you can't imagine how loud it was.
I shout a Friend 1, he shouldn't suicide all the time.
Friend 1 shouts at Friend 2, he should stop so he can try something.
Friend 2 shouts at me, I should slow down or they'll get crushed again on the left side.
What a mess, but it was very funny.

You should convince him to try it out. Mario games have tons of replayability; I'm STILL finding bonus rooms I didn't know about in SMB3.

Fun game, though I do best playing by myself. 2-player is hilarious to watch, hopeless for me to participate in because I get distracted too easily. I loved the water area in World 1. The Cheep Cheep schools were so cute that I felt sort of bad blasting the shit out of them with ice balls. I reminded myself that it was revenge. Sweet sweet revenge.

It turns out that the line guides are 3d models and not tiles. In the latest build of Reggie! I have, they do not show up. I don't know if treeki has fixed this yet or not, but one he does, it shouldn't be hard at all.
