Awhile back, I linked the craziness forum with a LP of "Desert Bus". DavetheUsher (Whom I think joined the forums) did a straight 16 hour run of this game. It was indeed hilarious and had some pretty good commentary.
Now this is totally different. These people are doing a charity event in which the more money you throw at them, the more they will have to play the game. All proceeds go to a charity organization in which buys children who are in hospitals videogames.
Right now the website is at $5000.00. Which is a lot for the time being. (They have to do over 80 hours) But they always get a ton more every year (07 was I think 25+ grand, and 08 was around 70 grand).
Teaming up with them this year is The Escapist Magazine, Oni Press, Hothead games and Harmonix. Pen and Teller are rumored to do their own thing for the charity. As they have done last year (Donating 30 grand I think)
