Played for about 2 1/2 hours with my roommate and girlfriend. Holy crap this game is fun. We've died so much in so many ways, by enemies, scenery and each other. So much fun. We're in the middle of World 2 now.

I read the IGN Australia review of the game, which talked about the challenge of the later levels. This is a good thing. It makes sense for Nintendo to include the Super Guide feature if those can kick your ass.

Meh. Just use the bubble until you're past the hard parts. Although that's the lame way to go about things, but still.
I'm on 7-Fortress already. I need to go back and get Star Coins though.
We tried bubbles and those still failed us. It's the fact that the sand pillars are all timed alternating with each other towards the end. Even playing 1 player, I still had trouble with it, though not as much as before. The game is definitely harder with more players but it's more fun.
Multiplayer is hectic, but amazing. So much fun to tick off my friend by picking her up and carrying her through the stage. Then we realized you could spin jump off.
