I can wait for it. Would rather finish up with L4D1 thoroughly first before I consider getting 2. Makes sense, right?

But melee weapons...I wish I had those for 1...I melee Hunters to death for my lunch!

L2D2 demo to hit later this month

Or not.

The demo will be available to everyone on Nov. 10. PC gamers and Xbox Live Gold members get to check the demo out starting Nov. 3 and people who pre-oder the game will get access to the demo on Oct. 27.

It's both, but it's really short, (Even with my sludge-like progress in new environments, it only took me about 30 minutes to get everything done) so I think it hardly matters.

On the gameplay itself, it seemed like an improved L4D, but not much more. Sure, it was fun going around killing zombies with a guitar, it was neat seeing all of the new special infected in action, and the new setting and characters were nice and refreshing, but other than those things, it didn't really feel too different from the first one. It was fun, and I'm sure even those who have played L4D for ages would enjoy something a bit different, but it just didn't feel that unique when compared to the first one.

Essentially, I'd but it, but not for 45-50 dollars, especially since I already own L4D.

The Charger definitely pisses me off though. I couldn't avoid him. (granted I was trying to melee him to death, but still)

The charger isn't too nice, but the rest of fairly easy to deal with except for the bloody Jockey. I was at the end of the second chapter, and the little bastard grabbed me and I managed to get stuck behind the bus, coated in zombies Thankfully I lived The nightstick is my favorite melee weapon so far, and the machine gun you can get at the start my favorite gun. Boomer Bile is the best throwing weapon imo, or pipe bombs since they attract all the zombies. Anyways, hit me up on Steam (Topkasa) if you want to play a round of MP. I have the PC version, fyi. ____________________

played the demo on my brother's machine. it is -really- good, but for some reason feels different than the first game to me... ah well, still great.

Favorite weapons:
G3 Scoped rifle
Guitar (this thing DECAPITATES like a BEAST)
Pipe Bomb (haven't tried Boomer Bile)
Pain Pills (though the adrenaline shot can be incredibly useful when your teammates aren't around)

favorite character is Nick, if only because of his white suit and that one line from the opening cutscene...
"C'mon, coach. Maybe the helicopter... maybe it's made of chocolate!"

Haha, Nick is awesome. I play as him every time Figured out a little trick with the jokebox, too. Whenever it plays "Re: Your Brains," it causes a bunch of Zombies to swarm you, even more than the car alarm! As you've probably guessed, I hit it every time. ____________________
