So, in effort to get people to use them more I have created a new set for my own use from Girl Genius. I am hoping that this will inspire people to put some effort and make their own set.





So, get creative! Cropped screencaps, comic pages, even hand drawn things can make great mood avatars~

I had a Detective Gumshoe mood avatar set for a while. It had a lot of repeats, though, since the good detective's range of emotion wasn't very broad back in the first game.
I might re-instate it, since he has more (and better quality) sprites in Gyakuten Kenji.

... of course, I could just use an Edgeworth set...

As you might already know, all of my mood avatars are of this guy's amazing expressions. Once I paused on the frame currently shown by mistake, the idea to create a mood avatar set came right into my mind. Even though he's only shown for about 20 seconds, it was only problematic to find two expressions; the rest were incredibly easy to find and they felt pretty natural for the mood listed.

My only regret is that I couldn't find a higher quality version of that video, so the avatars don't appear nearly as sharp as they could be; however, I suppose that his face does much more than compensate for that, to say the least.

Oh, yeah, I've had a few sets in the past, but aside from one I wouldn't use again, this is the only one really meant to express my moods when posting.

My set.

12.png is the only one that doesn't correspond to its mood. The mood is sadness, I'm using it as a spot for "fight," mostly for use with my RPing.

I recently asked Tyty about getting a set of Viarra mood avatars. We'll see what happens.

I actually tried making a moodset once.

I couldn't get very far in it, unfortunately. It'd be far too difficult to match my current userpic (hell, even my old) with anything else, anyway...
